In UM Volume One by buttercup, Eugenee (they/them) is just like any other nonbinary apprentice midwife and occult polyamorous plant dad. They play video games, begrudgingly attend church with their granma, and occasionally get transported into elaborate visions of magical happenings from the distant past! Ue may chalk it up to their casual substance use or the suspiciously arcane, dead-eyed gaze of their cat companion, Lamarche. but the gag is, what's actually up is so much weirder.
