Proud Heart: The Love Of Achilles reinvigorates the tale of their love from Homer’s The Iliad. It is one of the earliest and greatest love stories from the western canon.
 
Patroclus is the son of Menoetius the Argonaut, and Philomela. He is a captain of men, he is respected by all, and he is one of the finest warriors amongst the Achaeans.
Achilles is the son of King Peleus and the nymph Thetis. He is a demi-god, he is the greatest warrior at the siege of Troy, and possibly the greatest warrior to have ever lived.
They love each other with a passion beyond compare.
